Insurance

Insurances we do not accept: Aetna HMO and Tricare Prime.

Anthem Insurance patients:

TotalCare For Women participates with most insurance plans with the exception of the following:

  • Aetna PPO Medicare Replacement Plans
  • Aetna Open Access
  • All Humana Plans
  • Tricare Prime
  • Magellan Coordinated Care Plus
  • United Healthcare Coordinated Care Plus

For our patients covered by Anthem Insurance, we are happy to announce that we are returning to the Anthem Network beginning May 1, 2018.

Emergencies

If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911. During regular office hours contact us or make an appointment.

And you can reach our on-call service after business hours.

Billing Questions

Copayments are due and payable at the time services are rendered. Patients who are not covered by a healthcare insurance plan with which TotalCare for Women participates, must make arrangements with our billing department at our Chesapeake location prior to being seen.

Appointments

To make or cancel appointment, contact us at the appropriate location.

All visits are by appointment only. In fairness to the patients who have scheduled appointments and are waiting to be seen, WE DO NOT ACCEPT WALK-INS.

If you wish to schedule a routine appointment such as an annual exam, please call our office at least 3 weeks in advance. Same-day and next-day appointments are reserved for emergencies and acute problems.
